Zeckers: a 0.0026 ZEC mint on 21 September and CryptoAlpha's 5 GTD giveaway

Zeckers mints on 21 September as a 3,333 piece collection on Zcash. We made a collaboration with the team and we are giving away 5 GTD whitelist spots to CryptoAlpha readers. First how to enter, then the project itself.

How to enter the CryptoAlpha giveaway

The giveaway runs on X, on our @0xBurakcan account: open the giveaway post and complete the steps. They are:

1. Follow @0xBurakcan and @ZeckersNFT.
2. Like and repost the pinned post of @ZeckersNFT. This is the Zeckers side's condition; the post to repost is their whitelist announcement.
3. Take a look at cryptoalpha.me and drop your feedback in the comments. This is our only request: whatever you liked, found missing, or want us to fix.

Our giveaway post went up on 20 September at 08:38 UTC and stays open for 12 hours. We will announce the winners from the same account.

Even if you win, we will never ask you for a private key, a seed phrase or a payment; anyone asking for those is not writing on our behalf.

Why we do not ask for a repost of our own post

We put no repost condition on our own posts in any giveaway. A repost requirement excludes large accounts most of all: nobody wants their profile filled with giveaway posts, and we do not do it on our own account either. An honest opinion from someone who actually opened and read the site is worth more to us than a repost.

About the collaboration: the 5 GTD spots were provided by the Zeckers team, and in return we publish this article and run the giveaway. No payment was received for this article. The team did not approve the text, and the risks section is not up for negotiation.

What is the project

According to its site, Zeckers consists of 3,333 pixel kings living on the Zcash blockchain, with a fixed supply. In the project's own words a Zecker is not a picture but a seat in a treasury that pays its kings: the site says $ZEC is routed to holder wallets with no staking and no lockups.

The site splits its roadmap into four levels. Level one is the whitelist quests and is live, level two is the mint of 3,333 pieces, level three is the treasury going online and level four is expansion; the last two appear locked. The whitelist quests consist of following, liking, reposting, summoning two friends and binding a ZEC address.

The application screen states a 72 hour window and shows a countdown. An X username is requested so the quests can be verified. The second channel, posting about the project and logging that post on the site, was closed at the time of writing: the page says it is closed, that every logged post is kept, and that winners are announced on X.

What the project says

The mint details sit in the team's posts: 21 September 2026, 12:00 UTC and 0.0026 $ZEC. According to two posts on 20 September, the first 50 mints will be completely free.

On the collaboration quota there are two different numbers. The 18 September post says 999 collaboration spots opened on a first come first serve basis and that only 50 communities would be accepted. The 19 September post says, for transparency, that 777 spots are for collabs and that 100 spots have been filled. How the two numbers fit together has not been explained.

The team also wrote on 19 September that 700 organic posts arrived in a five minute window, and on 18 September that it had reached 3,000 followers and over 500 messages. All of these are the project's own statements.

NFT

The collection is 3,333 pieces, the mint price is 0.0026 ZEC and the mint day was announced as 21 September. At the time of writing no mint page address or contract identifier had been published, so do not open links circulating on mint day without verifying them from the official account.

The promise the site repeats most is the $ZEC flowing from the treasury to holders. The same page says the full mechanics are published on X before mint, which means that at the time of writing the mechanics had not been published.

What to watch

• Whether the treasury mechanics are published before the mint.
• A correction on whether the collaboration quota is 999 or 777.

Conclusion

The mint side of Zeckers is clear: the date, time and price are announced, and the whitelist is handed out through two channels, one of which is our giveaway. The treasury yield that carries the collection's main pitch rests on mechanics the team says will be published before mint, and until they are published it stays as the team's word.
