Pons: billion-dollar platform volume claims, a measured pool small beside market cap

What the project says it is

Pons is a launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Its website invites visitors to explore the newest fixed-supply tokens launched on Robinhood Chain. The project is therefore a platform through which others launch tokens, and $PONS is its native token.

The documentation describes several mechanisms. Purchases at launch incur a 99% fee that falls to zero within three seconds, a design that makes sniping expensive. Token creation can be restricted to whitelisted addresses. The "Migration" section describes tokens not launched through Pons: tokens whose market has died and whose founder has disappeared, but whose community remains.

The project's documentation also warns that launches and market data may load slowly or display an outdated value.

What the project says

Most of Pons' posts report volume figures: $400 million in one day and over 63% of Robinhood Chain launchpad volume in the preceding 24 hours; more than $5 billion in total traded volume; $4.54 billion in under two months; $2.85 billion of Robinhood's $25 billion in DEX volume in one month, or over 11%; and $111 million in RWA volume in 24 hours. The project also claims that token creators have earned over $25 million in trading fees.

None of these figures was independently verified in this scan. The project cites a Dune dashboard in its own post; that dashboard was not read.

There are two token-related claims: that 28.52% of the total $PONS supply has been burned, and that the treasury continues accumulating $PONS with 80% of protocol fee revenue. The treasury is also said to have started providing liquidity to on-chain RWAs. Holder fee sharing was announced for new v2 tokens: when enabled, all trading fees are distributed to token holders, who can earn supported RWAs, stablecoins or ETH.

The project describes its positioning as "memestocks": an intersection of tokenized real-world assets and retail investor culture on Robinhood Chain, with stock tokens being added to the platform.

Token

The fact set contains three addresses associated with $PONS, and none has been verified through the project's official X account, so this article publishes no address. Their origins differ substantially: one is a contract in a documentation code example, another is a zero-address placeholder in that example that represents no token, and the third is the address the market-data provider identifies as the traded token. Readers should not have to distinguish these themselves. No address will be shown here until verification comes from the official account.

The measurement came from a single pool: PONS/WETH on Uniswap on Robinhood. The most meaningful comparison is between pool liquidity and market cap. Measured liquidity was $5.90 million, against a market cap of $404.57 million calculated at the same time. Only a small fraction of that market cap is present in the pool, and the price depends on the depth of this single measured pool.

The second point concerns supply: market cap and FDV were measured as equal. This means the data provider treats circulating supply as equal to total supply. Read alongside the project's 28.52% burn claim, the fact set does not establish whether any supply is locked or awaiting vesting.

Third, the pair age was measured at 51 days, consistent with the project's statement that it had been live for under two months.

Team and funding

The pages read during the scan named no team member, and no funding record was found. The project's X account was created in July 2026, is verified and has 55.9 thousand followers.

What to watch

• Verification of the $PONS contract address through the official X account or an unbroken link chain beginning there. Until then, circulating addresses cannot be treated as reliable; the project itself warns about scams in its posts.
• The burn percentage and treasury purchases of $PONS were not verified on-chain.
• The Dune dashboard cited for platform volume claims was not read.
• Whether token creation is restricted by a whitelist, and therefore who can currently use the platform, remains unclear.
• The fact set does not identify the issuers backing the stock tokens or how those tokens are collateralized.

Conclusion

The measurements show a token whose price forms in one pool, with thin liquidity relative to market cap and a sharp price move at measurement time. None of the large volume figures announced for the platform was verified in this scan. Its basic identifying information, the contract address, remains unverified through the official account.
