Nucleus: the campaign platform that scores X content and wallet history, its open campaigns and the unknowns

Nucleus is a platform that brings projects' content campaigns on X and whitelist allocations based on wallet history into one place. You sign in with your X account; the platform scores your posts and the on-chain history of the wallets you connect, places you on a leaderboard and pays rewards to the top of it.

This article first covers the two campaigns open right now, then how the platform works and what has not been disclosed.

Campaigns open right now

When we prepared this article (the morning of September 14), two running campaigns stood out on the list. Detailed rules are on each campaign's own page after signing in with X; the public list shows only the type, reward and time left.

Sleepagotchi Season 3

• Type: contribution campaign; points come from content on X
• Reward: a $50,000 token airdrop to the top 300 on the leaderboard
• Start: August 28, 14:00 UTC
• End: the countdown on the list showed 14 days 5 hours, which puts the close at about September 28, 14:00 UTC

This is the third Sleepagotchi campaign on Nucleus. The first opened on May 18 with $120,000 in $SLEEP, the second on July 27 with $50,000 in tokens for the top 300. Nucleus wrote that this season's rewards stack on top of airdrops earned in earlier campaigns. How the $50,000 is split among the top 300 is not stated on the list.

Nucleus Season 3

• Type: the platform's own season
• Reward: $AURA for the top 5,000 users. The campaign list describes $AURA as "Platform Currency".
• Start: August 19, 14:00 UTC
• End: the countdown on the list showed 35 days 5 hours, which puts the close at about October 19, 14:00 UTC

Whether $AURA is an on-chain token or an in-platform point, what it can be converted into, and what the season scores have not been disclosed.

A $50,000 Beldex stablecoin campaign was also open on the list. The Hoodminers campaign had ended and its final ranking was being calculated.

What the project is: how Nucleus works

Nucleus presents itself as the reputation engine of Web3. It announced on May 12, 2026 that it had opened in private beta, that anyone can enter with an X account without a whitelist, referral code or form, and summed up its approach in one line: your on-chain and social history speaks for itself.

The site has three main sections:

• Opportunities: project campaigns.
• Network Rankings: in the site's words, a network-wide ranking built on on-chain activity and verified social footprint.
• Community Rankings: launched on September 13. X communities are ranked, top communities are promised extra benefits, and a user can pick only one community.

Campaigns use two kinds of leaderboard. The Contribution leaderboard is calculated from content on X, the Reputation leaderboard from the on-chain history of connected wallets. For example, Canopy's August 24 reputation campaign said rankings were based on on-chain analysis of connected wallets, with AI-focused portfolios scoring higher.

Nucleus does not publish how rewards are split across ranks for every campaign. One example it did publish is Hoodminers: according to the September 8 announcement there were 1,031 GTD whitelist spots across two leaderboards. The 871 spots on the reputation leaderboard were split as follows: 5 each for ranks 1 to 10, 3 each for 11 to 50, 2 each for 51 to 100, and 1 each for 101 to 700.

X's January 2026 decision

According to CoinDesk, X's head of product Nikita Bier announced on January 15, 2026 that the platform would no longer allow apps that pay users for posting, citing AI slop and reply spam. The same day Kaito, the best-known example of the model, said it would shut down Yaps and replace it with Kaito Studio.

Nucleus's contribution campaigns also rely on posts on X. How Nucleus views this decision, how it reads X data and whether it sees a risk for participating accounts is not stated in the sources we reviewed.

What the project says

Campaign history according to announcements on Nucleus's X account:

• May 21: 120 Eigen Keys whitelist spots for users with strong NFT reputation
• June 12: Canopy Network, $100,000 in tokens for the top 300 on the contribution leaderboard
• June 14: 100 GTD whitelist spots for Racerz
• July 1: Ethra Ship, $30,000 in stablecoins for the top 200
• July 27 and August 28: two separate $50,000 token campaigns for Sleepagotchi, for the top 300
• July 28: Beldex, $50,000 in stablecoins for the top 300
• July 29: Iron Allies. The campaign ended on August 29: top 50 on the reputation leaderboard GTD whitelist, ranks 51 to 300 FCFS whitelist; top 500 on the contribution leaderboard receive $IRON credited to their Discord account.
• August 8: whitelist for Unvault's Genesis Bugz collection
• August 18: Nucleus Season 3, $AURA for the top 5,000 users
• September 8: Hoodminers, 1,031 GTD whitelist spots across two leaderboards

On September 9 Nucleus compared itself with classic collab management: one announcement, 3,000 posts in 12 hours, and whitelist spots going to serious collectors, whales and KOLs. The figure is the platform's own claim and it did not say which campaign it refers to.

Payouts

On September 7 Nucleus announced that its first airdrop payments were out and congratulated those who made the top 300 in the Canopy campaign. The August 27 announcement for Canopy said rewards would be distributed on Canopy's own chain and that winners had to open a Canopy wallet.

We found no independent source confirming the payment; the only record we have is Nucleus's own announcement. The posts we reviewed contained no payout announcement for other campaigns, including Sleepagotchi's two earlier ones.

Token

The sources we reviewed show no Nucleus token or contract address. $AURA, the Season 3 reward, is listed as "Platform Currency"; whether it is an on-chain token or an in-platform point has not been disclosed. $IRON, the Iron Allies reward, is described on the list as "Discord Currency".

Team and funding

There is no team or funding information in the sources we reviewed. The X account has existed since October 2022 and has 127.8K followers. The oldest post on the account is a one-line "Will you join?" dated August 30, 2023; later posts start in May 2026.

What to watch

• Sleepagotchi Season 3's close at about September 28, 14:00 UTC and the payout announcement
• Nucleus Season 3's close around October 19 and any statement on the nature of $AURA
• The final Hoodminers ranking
• Publication of terms of use, company information and the scoring method

Conclusion

Nucleus is a campaign platform, active since May 2026, that measures X content and wallet history and distributes stablecoins, tokens and whitelist spots; its open campaigns are currently led by Sleepagotchi Season 3, with $50,000 in tokens for the top 300, and Nucleus Season 3, with $AURA for the top 5,000. The team, the scoring method, the reward split in most campaigns, the nature of $AURA and the effect of X's January decision on the platform have not been disclosed yet.
