BUNNY WTF: a 3,000 piece free mint claim and CryptoAlpha's 15 whitelist giveaway

BUNNY WTF is, by its own description, a 3,000 piece collection that will be minted for free. We made a collaboration with the team and we are giving away 15 whitelist spots to CryptoAlpha readers, 5 GTD and 10 FCFS. First how to enter, then whatever we have on the project.

How to enter the CryptoAlpha giveaway

The giveaway runs on X, on our @0xBurakcan account. The steps are:

1. Follow @0xBurakcan and @Bunnywtfnft.
2. Take a look at cryptoalpha.me and drop your feedback in the comments. This is our only request: whatever you liked, found missing, or want us to fix.

Five of the spots are GTD and ten are handed out on a first come first serve (FCFS) basis. We will announce the winners under the giveaway post and from the same account.

Even if you win, we will never ask you for a private key, a seed phrase or a payment; anyone asking for those is not writing on our behalf.

Why we do not ask for a repost of our own post

We put no repost condition on our own posts in any giveaway. A repost requirement excludes large accounts most of all: nobody wants their profile filled with giveaway posts, and we do not do it on our own account either. An honest opinion from someone who actually opened and read the site is worth more to us than a repost.

About the collaboration: the 15 whitelist spots were provided by the BUNNY WTF team, and in return we publish this article and run the giveaway. No payment was received for this article. The team did not approve the text, and the risks section is not up for negotiation.

What is the project

There is a boundary the reader should know about here: BUNNY WTF has no website linked on its X profile. Everything below therefore comes from the account's own posts and profile information; there is no site, documentation or roadmap to compare it against.

According to the profile, the collection consists of 3,000 pieces and will be minted for free on Robinhood. In a post on 6 September the team wrote that its first free mint would be done with a doxxed artist; the artist's name does not appear in the post.

A post on 14 September says they are starting with the holders of featured collections in support of the Robinhood ecosystem, that holders of those collections will be eligible for the free mint whitelist, and that more details will follow.

What the project says

Whitelist distribution has so far appeared to run directly under posts. The pinned post from 2 September says only the first 500 will be selected for GTD, and asks for a follow, a like, a repost and an EVM address dropped in the comments. The 6 September post adds a requirement to write which community you are coming from. A short post on 10 September again addresses those who want GTD.

On 19 September the team announced a collaboration with five alpha communities. All of these are the project's own statements.

What to watch

• The mint date, the official mint page address and the contract identifier.
• Whether the project publishes a website or documentation.
• The naming of the artist said to be doxxed.
• Which Robinhood ecosystem collections' holders will be given whitelist access.
• The results of our giveaway, on the @0xBurakcan account.

Conclusion

As of today BUNNY WTF amounts to an X account and a handful of announcements on it: there is a supply figure and a free mint claim, and no site or document to verify them against. A whitelist spot can be reached through our giveaway or through the project's own posts, and everything else stays an open question until the team announces it.
